Sussan is a Principal Solicitor at Hartleys Lawyers. She is an experienced senior lawyer with a Master of Applied Law (Family Law) practising predominantly in family and relationships law and family violence. Her background spans work in the Victorian state government and community legal centre sector. She is an experienced advocate, having appeared in metropolitan, regional and interstate registries at both the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia and Magistrates’ Court. Sussan is a private practitioner certifier for Victoria Legal Aid’s Family Law and Family Violence Panel and an external intervener for the Board’s External Intervention Panel. In addition to her practice, Sussan maintains an active involvement within the legal profession and broader legal community. She is a member of the Law Institute of Victoria, the Law Council of Australia Family Law Section, the Western Suburbs Law Association and Victorian Women Lawyers.
