Hartleys Lawyers assists clients who are eligible for a grant of assistance from Victoria Legal Aid and first appointments are generally available in a timely manner.

Hartleys Lawyers appear regularly in the Federal Circuit Court of Australia and Family Court of Australia throughout Victoria – Melbourne, Dandenong,  Ballarat, Bendigo, Geelong, Mildura, Morwell, Shepparton and Warnambool.

We offer assistance at various stages of your matter from the first Court date to Final Hearings. Hartleys Lawyers may also assist you mediations provided by Victoria Legal Aid prior to the commencement of proceedings. We strive to achieve an outcome for our clients which are practicable and promote a positive and child focused relationship between the Children and parties

Hartleys Lawyers has a dedicated legal aid team focused on assisting clients with parenting matters. We have provided assistance to those funded by a grant of assistance from Victoria Legal Aid since 2001.

Depending on your circumstances and availability of the required documentation your application may be able to be processed and approved in as little as a few days. If Victoria Legal Aid need to consider your application more closely you can expect a much longer timeframe for your application to be approved. We endeavour to keep you informed of the stage of your application with Victoria Legal Aid.

Do you assist with urgent matters?
